I can't believe the NFL season is starting this weekend. I'm actually pretty excited about it. My friends and I have played a "football picks" game for the past two years. We pick the winner of each game and then we rank each game from 1-15. 15 being the game we feel the most confident about and 1 being the game that could go either way. Last year I came in second. I am hoping to finish in the top 5 this year. I think the competition is going to be a little tougher this year, since there's at least 5 new people playing. So getting into the top 5 would be a nice accomplishment. This game also gives me something to look forward to every weekend.

I just finished doing my picks for the week. The first week is always the hardest because you never know how a team is going to do from one year to the next. I relied on ESPN a lot for this week.

Monika and Marvin are coming down this weekend. We're all going to the first Virginia Tech game of the season! We play the University of Connecticut which is ranked dead last the last time I checked. The game isn't going to be very great, but it will still be fun. Go Hokies! I'm so glad the football season is starting!
